This site doesn’t set any cookies, so there is no cookie banner. If we add advertising that uses cookies in future, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
Fonts and images
Our fonts and images are served from our own site. We don’t load Google Fonts or any advertising or tracking scripts. The only outside script is Cloudflare’s visitor statistics, described below.
The postcode search
When you type a postcode on the East Midlands page, your browser looks it up on postcodes.io, a free service built on open data from Ordnance Survey and the ONS, to find its rough location. Distances are then worked out in your browser. We don’t receive or store your postcode.
“Use my location”
If you choose “Use my location”, your browser asks your permission first. Your location is used in your browser to sort the list and is never sent to us or anyone else.
Links to other sites
Venue websites, Google reviews and social media links take you to other sites, which have their own privacy policies.
Hosting and statistics
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, it handles basic technical information, such as your IP address, to deliver pages and keep the site secure. We count visitors with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t follow you across other websites and doesn’t identify you. It tells us things like how many people visited, which pages they read and what kind of device they used, as totals only.
