DJ’s Indoor Golf golf simulator in Hinckley

Tucked away on Radius Court in Hinckley, DJ's Indoor Golf is the kind of place a keen golfer quietly hopes to find near home: three simulator bays, a dedicated putting studio and a well-stocked golf shop, all under one roof. It was set up by a golfer who wanted somewhere to play and practise whatever the weather, and that shows in the detail.

The three bays run launch monitors that read ball and club data and put your shots on a sharp 4K picture, so you can hit balls on a practice range or play full rounds on courses from around the world. The end bay is a touch more private, and you can ask for it when you book. Alongside the bays sits a Capto putting studio, which records your stroke for you to study afterwards, a real treat for anyone who suspects the putter is where the shots go.

Pricing is simple: £25 per bay per hour, with up to four people sharing. Regulars can take a six-month winter membership, including a family option for under-18s. Hire clubs are available in both left- and right-handed sets, so there is no need to bring your own, and hot and cold drinks are on the house.

Coaching is a big part of the picture. Resident PGA professionals teach here, and Wednesday evenings are set aside as coaching nights. The shop carries clothing, shoes, putters and demo clubs, so a session can easily turn into a browse.

Children are welcome with an adult, though a consent form is needed. Do note that the venue is reached up two small flights of stairs. The opening hours are long on weekdays, from 8am to 10pm, and 8am to 5pm at weekends. For something bigger, the whole place can be hired for birthdays, team days or a golf society get-together.
